Services and Fees
Initial consultation & ongoing psychotherapy
All sessions are currently offered virtually, either online or by telephone.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help us determine whether we are a good fit for working together. This provides an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and learn more about my approach to determine whether it aligns with your needs and goals.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length. The duration of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and progress, and is something we will explore collaboratively throughout the therapeutic process. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working with you to identify meaningful goals, develop a personalized treatment plan, and regularly reflect on our work together to ensure therapy continues to support your needs.
Fees
Fees for services are consistent with the Ontario Psychological Association’s recommended fee schedule.
Fee is $225 per session. Payment is made directly to the supervising psychologist at the end of each session via e-transfer.
Cancelled or missed appointments
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee. This policy helps ensure consistency and allows time to offer the appointment time to another client who may need support.
Insurance
Psychological services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, many extended health benefit plans provide full or partial coverage for psychotherapy services.
Official receipts are provided for submission to insurance providers for reimbursement. Coverage varies between plans, so clients are encouraged to confirm their benefits directly with their insurance company.
